    Lid is plastic and the copper inside rusts immediately, after one day of having water in it. It came with some rust already in it before I put water in. It is likely real copper as the finish doesn't wear off but very annoying that it rusts so easily and ad didn't say the cap had plastic. Good shipping, product arrived with no dents at least.
