I didn't purchase this for gaming, but for something else that requires a significantly thicker pad (I'm unfamiliar with gaming, so I had no knowledge as to how thick of a pad is used). I had asked the Seller to let me know how thick the item was, prior to sending it to me (since it wasn't indicated in the listing), but unfortunately, I never heard back, and now I have to return it.
