Vintage Audio restoration and upgrade kits are the primary focus of our business and we take it seriously. We are active members on audio forums like DIY Audio and Audio Karma. Our kits take advantage of our experience and the experience of the audio community at large. We are proud to provide high quality USA distributor sourced parts at the lowest possible price.
While their are variations to the theme, all our restoration kits use high quality parts from authorized distributors. Signal path caps of 4.7uf or smaller are sonically superior film caps. Other ecaps are from established manufactures like Nichicon and Panasonic.
Marblehead Audio is located in Marblehead, OH. We have a brick and mortar shop minutes from the shores of Lake Erie. Our background in all things audio is extensive. My partner has been restoring gear for well over 20 years. I have a passion for both listening to and making music, having fronted a band for a time.

Over, all the kit is pretty good, although there are six capacitors (coupling caps) that were not listed that I think should have been. The replacement relay and large filter caps require adapter boards, not included in kit, should have been. Better to just buy the parts from Digikey, Mouser, etc.
