    I don't get why we needed a new audio jack size. The cable looks fancy but misses the point of the 5th pole: It’s not used for shielding. And it's wired incorrectly — at least 2 wires are swapped. L⁺ - L⁺ L⁻ - L⁻ R⁺ - R⁺ R⁻ - G G - R⁻ R⁻ is connected to G, causing a buzzing (because of floating ground). Luckily, the casing is conductive, so I just shorted R- with G. I expected quality from a $20 cable. Sadly most 4.4mm options here seem from the same manufacturer so there aren't many options.
