While quite new to eBay, I have been in the MI business for over 40 years, started my working life at a famous London West End Music Shop called Bill Lewingon's as a repair tech.     Fantastic Mike, thank you. I had one of these cases many years ago and was miserable when it couldn’t be mended anymore! (More expensive then too!!) It’s light, feels solid, closes properly, has plenty room inside for orchestra stuff, a big music pocket - and the pink is great. Thanks too for replying within minutes when I couldn’t open it. I’ve been forcing the lock open with a spoon and it’s getting easier now. No problem since the zips are pretty sturdy too and I’m used to closing them.
