    Not particularly impressed with the finish of the guitar body I received. It's the softest lacquer I've ever seen on a guitar. It scratches incredibly easily even just from touching it with my finger, and there's even a dent/chip on the front of the body which has kind of ruined it for me. There's light scratching and swirl marks too, and a slight orange peel look to it. Not really what I'd call a factory finish, disappointed for the price. Suppose I can't return as I've drilled bridge holes.

    If the finish is so bad I'm surprised you didn't notice these before drilling holes in it? Ids it possible that all the swirl marks and dings have been caused by the installation of the hardware, since you didn't notice them initially??
