I'm sorry to hear the item arrived damaged. It was carefully packaged and any damage would have occurred at the hands of the shipping partners. This beautiful box was a very old piece from my mother's estate so I'm saddened to hear that this happened. Please check the message I sent you in eBay about a resolution to the issue although because I was not made aware of this issue until a month later, it may be too late to resolve. Thank you.
