About us

My name is Mike and I've been buying and selling vintage and antique items since 1974. I traveled the east coast and midwest for many years looking for cool old stuff and doing outdoor shows like Atlanta, Charlotte, Renninger's, Brimfield,Hillsville, Nashville, and Springfield. I retired from that crazy part of the business several years ago and now I concentrate on our small shop in the North Carolina mountains and our eBay business. I tend to sell mostly vintage music instruments, advertising items, ephemera, old photographs, etc, but I'm in the process of expanding into some different stuff.     The day I received the hat I sent Mike photos of the hat showing the faded areas. It may have been in a display case causing faded areas. The issue is not only that it didn't match the photos, with no fading, but also Mike's necessarily accusatory email response. It would be a waste of my time to return an item I then need to purchase from another source. Mike's response: "I'm not sure what's going on here, but I suspect I know... I do not believe the photos you sent are of the hat I sent."

    I did indeed state that I suspected something amiss due to the fact that the photos the buyer sent did not match the hat I shipped. BUT, I also said buyer could return and receive a full refund. I don't do bait and switch. My feedback shows that. I still would like buyer to return the hat. It will prove what I have said. Mike
