  This design of a chicken saddle is excellent! Covers all the places on the wings where the rooster broke the feathers. The hen I bought this for is on the larger side, a Buff Orpington, and the saddle fits perfectly. Also, the price is the lowest for anything with decent wing protection.

  This is a copy of the pattern with one newsprint cutout for each template and copies onto heavier copier paper inadequate for paper piecing. At least the print scale appears to be correct. If you make a plastic template for each SHAPE for cutting, you only need 16 each of the 2 LAYOUT templates because these are what you actually sew onto. Problem: her copies of the straight template are too short and have cut off the ends! She clearly doesn't know paper piecing.
