Hello, my name is Yudi, I am the second generation of this business. My father started this parasite wood craft business in 1990, when he was a teenager. Initially this parasite wood was only used as firewood. This parasite wood is then crafted into works of art. Parasite wood is wood that is formed from a host tree overgrown by parasites, the host tree forms defense and creates a unique wood, known as parasite wood. We use the unique form of the parasit wood to craft art.

The artwork of parasite wood is never exactly the same, due to the uniqueness of each parasite wood. It’s safe to say, it’s one of a kind art piece.

We hand carve various forms of sculptures made from parasite wood, ranging from various forms of mushrooms, birds such as hummingbird, owl, eagle, parrot. Animal forms such as deer, elephant, horse. Aquatic carving such as dolphin, octopus, manta ray. By purchasing our product, you are supporting the preservation of Bali hand carving tradition.
