I've been selling "stuff" since I was a kid in Texas going door to door selling candy my mom bought for me and my brothers, until my mom found me :-O Deep down I'm still that kid selling candy.....
Well, maybe not candy now, but I do sell jewelry and antiques, pre-owned, mostly vintage, sometimes newer, at a very good value. Affordability is hands down one of the best benefits of buying pre-owned jewelry. When you opt for pre-owned jewelry, you get to enjoy beautiful pieces at a fraction of the cost of new pieces and more often than not higher quality.
Also buying secondhand jewelry is an undeniably sustainable purchase. It lessens the impact on the air, water, and soil that happens at its creation, when a piece is bought and re-sold and bought again there will be less demand for new pieces to be made which would have otherwise strained the environment and extracted resources.
So it helps the environment, and that is important.
