This item was tested twice and worked. This is not a plug and play device and is not compatible with all TV's or HDMI cables and has 4 different ways to send audio to a receiver, dedicated a/v amplifier, or SPDIF digital. We were not made aware of any issues the buyer has had, and have offered technical support to troubleshoot the problem, which could be a number of reasons, and If not resolved we could offer a replacement unit.
