About us
The Vermont PuppeTree tours from Maine to New Jersey with 5 different puppet productions for children and their families. Our goal is to give the next generation the great stories of our childhood; Caps for Sale by Esphyr Slobodkina, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow by Washington Irving, Swimmy by Leo Lionni, and Hans Christian Anderson's Ugly Duckling. We believe that stories are rehearsal for life and that children can experience the consequences of a character's choices both good and bad. Some children only learn from a story or visual experience. We all enjoy it. The company also mentors young artist on our "Puppet Pharm" in Vermont.
Many of the items in our store are from the Costume Collection, Fabric and trim collections, Workshop and Donated items to help us.
