I get it. We count our pennies just like you do. I raised my family on used goods, mainly furniture and rugs. Saved a lot of money! No one suffered. Everyone was well-fed, warm, rested, and decent looking. I still look for bargains. I can't seem to help myself! But I don't need so much anymore, so instead of passing on good stuff, I buy it and sell at a bargain price to someone who needs or wants it. And big bonus: We're all saving good goods from the landfill when we recycle this way.
