I am a qualified engineer and I spent many years manufacturing and testing electronic circuit boards and assemblies. My experience helps me diagnose, repair and refurbish most non functioning laptops. I focus on Thinkpads because in my opinion they are robust, well designed and well documented. IBM / Lenovo Thinkpads are often the choice of laptop for large companies and organisations worldwide and I used these innovative machines on a daily basis. I buy broken laptops from many sources and it is my ambition and passion to restore them to their former glory and save them from landfill or incineration. A refurbished Thinkpad represents a very realistic alternative to a modern laptop for an affordable and sensible price. My laptops are not the cheapest on Ebay but my prices reflect the amount of work that has been conscientiously carried out - including fan / heatsink cleaning and thermal paste replacement. Note: If you need a different OS installed - just ask me !
