    This adapter works perfectly fine with no excessive overheating. The cable is in excellent condition and understandably, the main box has a little discolouration due to its age, though this has no impact on functionality. It is worth getting the genuine refurbished adapter vs a generic one that may overheat, and therefore it is excellent value for money to get these refurbished models.
