I'm pleased to have found this close match to the favorite wool cap I bought on sale (for $5!) at a men's clothing store decades ago, now way worn. It's a bit larger, and from the looks of it may have long hung on a peg, but can perhaps be shrunk just enough to be a good fit (next winter).
