My first ever eBay sale was a set of 2005 Ohio State Football Season tickets. It was a exciting bidding process. I then occasionally buy and sell items on eBay. Back then, eBay is the biggest online market place. A few years later, my son was diagnosed with autism. We needed money for his therapy that was not covered by insurance. One of my best friends said: You have a good eBay account have experiences, why don't you started doing some e-business on eBay. I then started increasing volumes of my eBay sale. It has been almost 20 years (2024) since my first sale and my son is now 16 years old. My tiny business on eBay not only supported his therapy in the past, I also use it to help training his life supporting skills. He has no idea why and how we need to make money. So I "paid" him a small amount of money for everything he does. He learned how to update inventory, print label, pack and ship. And he can use his own money for items we "won't" pay. Maybe one day, he will be owner.
