Hi, my name is Keith West and I'm a retired Geography professor living in northern Wisconsin along the shores of Lake Michigan. I started collecting baseball cards in 1964 and continued until 1971. During the years 1966 through 1970, I almost completely filled sets from packs (except the 1967 Topps high numbers, which never appeared in my neighborhood). I also benefited from older kids finding out that I collected: they often either gave or sold me their collections (usually just for a couple bucks).
I started collecting again in the early 80's, often trading my duplicate cards at shows and shops to fill sets. I joined ebay in 1998 and was able to fill several other sets over the next decade. Since then, I've pretty much remained inactive in the hobby. That is until a couple months ago when I started to sell off my collection. So far, I've mostly listed various odds and ends, but my complete sets will soon be going up for sale.
BTW, my username refers to a car I owned.
