My passions in life, besides my family, of course, are plants, crafts, and painting. I wish my career had been in one of those areas, but they don’t pay the bills. My career was in healthcare, but had to retire very, very early for health reasons. Healthcare puts a tremendous strain on one’s body. After my very early retirement, I needed a way to occupy my mind, so I started pressing and drying flowers from my yard. After the flowers were dried, I made designs on paper with wedding invitations. I wanted to sell them on eBay, which is why my shop is called Allison’s Secret Garden. I managed to sell some of these designs, as well as some of my acrylic paintings. Unfortunately, I’m no longer able to craft, design, or paint since my body continues to betray me. Still needing to occupy my mind, I now sell things that I like on eBay as a small hobby. I’m trying to keep it together 😊 so my head doesn’t explode 🤯

    The item itself would’ve been perfect had it not come from a smoking environment—whether the seller’s home or some other place where the item was purchased by the seller. I then have to fumigate the item with dryer sheets although one never really gets the odor out and there remains an actual film that one can feel on the box. Smoky ornaments must be stored together. I should’ve asked before purchasing, but would’ve purchased anyway, regrettably. I wanted it.
