  I won a pair of sneakers at auction, I paid the same day, the seller promised expedited shipping, but the seller never shipped my sneakers, never contacted me. No failure by the shipping service -- seller simply chose not to send me my paid-for item nor contact me about why. It took two long weeks before I could open a "did not receive case" and, a few more days of waiting, eBay issued my refund. Still no word from seller on the failures all around. Caveat emptor.
