Makes Performing More Fun
I've been a performer all my adult life, and hearing myself, the singer, bassist, guitarist, etc can really be a problem. You're always at the mercy of the sound guy, who may or may not be a few sheets to the wind by the time downbeat happens. These in-ears are great because I can now control what I hear without having to deal with ambient noise or apathetic sound men. My only issue so far is that my guitar sounds thin in my ears, although it sounds fine in the house. This may be an experience thing - maybe I just haven't used it enough yet to get the time exactly right. Still, it's a huge improvement, and I'm very happy with the purchase.
