good reading
What I loved: The style of writing, the dialogue and narration blended well in this book. Neither overshadowed the other. The ending made me very emotional.
What I liked: The story was interesting...not new...men and women woes and the joy and pain of love. I wanted to know more about Porter's job status after his "accident." I wanted to know more about how Winona adjusted to her demotion on her job. I wanted to know more about the dynamics between Winona and her father.
There's a sequel which I've ordered, I can't wait to find out more about the main characters as their relationship develops or flops. I think people in their 20s might not find this book entertaining. IMO. It's got some mature themes about dealing with the past, the present, letting go, moving on, spirituality, trust and holding on to secrets.
