KRAUSE-MINKUS STANDARD CATALOG OF AUSTRALIA STAMPS: 2001 : By Maurice D. Wozniak
04 Oct, 2021
Good additional reference source for Australia stamps
Minkus albums are still very popular with collectors, and this catalogue is a great companion to the Minkus Australia / British Oceania stamp album. You should still keep a Scott or Gibbons catalogue handy since Minkus numbers are obsolete, but this book contains a lot of useful information (including varieties unlisted by Scott, and to a lesser degree, by Stanley Gibbons) that isn't in the other catalogues. I have collected a library of Minkus catalogues release between 1978-2001, and use them often. They contain a wealth of information and have helped me with my collection a great deal.
Lick 'Em Stick 'Em, The Lost Art of Postage Stamps (1989, Thomas Steele, Used)

Great inteoduction to poster stamps!
The world of poster stamp collecting is still relatively unknown to most philatelists. These beautiful stamps were created to promote events, products, businesses, etc., and many of them are fabulous little works of art in their own right. This book was a perfect introduction to teach me about poster stamps since I had never heard of them in my 50+ years of stamp collecting. This book inspired me to try and find more poster stamps and create my own albums for them as I build a small collection in my spare time. Lick 'em Stick 'em as well illustrated and has a great history of this unique field of Cinderella stamp collecting. It's well produced, well written, and belongs in the library of every Cinderella stamp collector. It is also a great addition to any philatelist's book collection.
XS for Men by Paco Rabanne 3.4 oz 100 ml Eau de Toilette Spray

A but perfumey at first but grew on me
I got this by mistake and decided to try it out anyway. At first I really didn't like the fragrance; it was too sweet, too "perfumey" for me. I was not happy about my decision to keep it... then I noticed that as I wore it, the fragrance adapted on my skin (as the alcohol evaporated) and I really started to like it. Now when I wear it, I love it from the start. Took some time but I changed 100% - that has never happened with me and a fragrance. My only gripe is that it only lasts a couple hours. I wish it lasted longer... but it was this combination of ingredients that gave Pure XS the scent I like, and I can deal with the relatively short lifespan. BTW, I originally ordered XS (without the "Pure"), which is one of my favorite colognes... this isn't too far off from that, it has some of the same notes. Sometimes with "Pure XS" I get reminded of an orange dreamsicle, sometimes it's nothing like that. If you like XS, you will probably like Pure XS because they're not that different. Just my opinion, I'm glad to share it but don't sue me if you disagree... ;)
