British Telecom Calypso 225 Twin 1-Line Cordless Phone
I read various reviews on this phone and none of them were good but I found these phones to be hassle free to set up and clear as a bell when in use. I looked at other phones but they had too many features I just wanted an answer phone and the ability to add maybe up to two more handsets if need be. These are going really cheap on eBay and worth every penny.

bose acoustimass 10 series 2 speakers system
4 of 4 found this helpful First off I would like to say I purchased these after already owning large surround sound speakers made up of mission front speakers (left,right,centre) bose 301 rear speakers and a Yamaha yst-sw90 active subwoofer. I was looking for small speakers but without losing sound quality. I read many reviews about bose acoustimass 10 speakers some good and some bad so took a chance on trying them for myself I was pleasantly surprised when I hooked them up to my Yamaha av amp the voices came through crystal clear and the surround speakers gave a very good sense of being in the thick of the film they also do not distort at high volume. The subwoofer that comes with the acoustimass 10 is not described by bose as a subwoofer and in my opinion is ok for general tv and games console playing but if you love your films (like me) I would recommend an active subwoofer (keeping my Yamaha subwoofer) as the big explosions and crashes do not have that deep in your face bass but don't get me wrong the bass provided is good and does not feel like its coming from one distinct place. The build quality of the satellite speakers is very good the bass module build quality however is not the best. I do like how all the wires are labelled too which makes installation about as easy as it possibly could get just a shame the actual speaker wire is not of the best quality but adequate for the job. Overall I would give these speakers 8/10 they make me smile when I turn them up and watch an action film and also make my lady smile as there not taking up the entire living room :-).
