Best 3D sonic title out of 3 I've owned
The game utilizes the motion sensing capabilities of the wii remote/ nunchuck to punch with the left and right, and doing a homing attack with a flick of the wrist. These controls are easy to use, and make the game more fun. The environments, character designs, and video sequences are lush, smooth, and colorful. The only downside is that the human characters don't look as realistic as they did in Shadow the Hedgehog. The loading times are somewhat short, and only occur during certain level/ area changes. Overall, Sonic Unleashed is beautiful, easy to control, has short load times, and utilizes the motion sensing and all 3 control schemes of the Nintendo Wii (remote/nunchuk,remote/classic controller, and Nintendo Gamecube controller) very well.
