Wonderful novel for younger readers. It inspired me to a life time of reading
This was one of the first books I read on my own as a child in the late '60s. It really inspired me to read more. Once I'd read it I did not stop reading to this day. I wanted to read it again to make sure my memories of it were right, It is still a great read. Because it is an historic novel it remains as current now s when it was written. I bought this copy because I love the idea of pre-loved books; nearly everything I get these days I source second hand, because I like to wonder who read it before me... I'd recommend this to any young reader with any imagination, it will be so more exciting than any game, no matter how good the graphics.

Ideal
I was looking to replace a 2L pyrex jug that I had broken. Couldn't find one anywhere, but found this on eBay. It is ideal as it has liters, cups and pint (US), molded into the glass. It is sturdy and easy to keep clean. I felt it was very good value.
