Superb, creative, with the feel of classic futuristic sci-fi space opera
Intelligent, creative, well-written. Feels realistic and carries a positive undercurrent of the strength of individuals and their humanity. Wonder diversity and in-depth creative writing of multiple human and non-human sentients. Becky Chambers novels are always enjoyable reading. Only wish there were more of them :-)

Probably good statement about human condition but lacks plot and energy
Superb author and I love all her other work but this one read like a mundane collection of diaries to me. Lots of people will probably enjoy; just quite a lot different than her other efforts.
