Hi I'm John, my makers mark is 'jaycee'. I'm a New Zealander living in Australia. I work from my home studio in Warrnambool on the South West Victorian coast, where I carve and sculpt Jade and stone, create photographic art images, paint and make the occassional linoprint.

I carve Jade from various sources throughout the world, when I create from Jade sourced from Aotearoa/New Zealand, the raw material is sourced from people I know personally who have traditional rights to sell Pounamu.

As a lens-based artist I create art images in both medium format film and digital. I paint in oils and acrylics in an abstract expressionist style.
