Towelhead

You might like this movie unless you are white, texan, military, male...the only "good" white folks are the new neighbors, he was in the peace corps, she listens to NPR...this movie is about as subtle as a sledgehammer, or a michael moore "documentary." The acting is uniformly bad, even laughably so in the case of the pregnant neighbor.Writing, directing, sound, i just cant think of anything good about this movie. The extras include a discussion with a spokesman for the Sikh community. All due repect, listening to this man whining was torture.The director cant wait to tell us he's a "gay man",and so is one of the persecuted peoples. We are all victims...(sniff)

waste of time

absolutely pointless drivel. don't buy it for the soundtrack, you cant really hear the music. there's about five minutes where some idiots are rolling around naked in the dirt, no big deal. scenes of police juxtaposed with ads for bacon and pork. get it? seriously. then a big house blows up. it blows up real good. dumb as hell, certainly not worth waiting forty years to see.
