Not a patch on the original
I think there are enough reviews of this film already for me to not have to go into huge detail about the plot etc but suffice to say, if you have seen the original or listened to the original soundtrack of this classic, you will probably be hugely dissapointed by this very mediocre remake which has none of the atmosphere and menace which makes the original so brilliant. If however you come to this movie without any preconceived ideas of how this story plays out you will probably enjoy it for what it is; another big bucks American action film with great special effects. No humming makes for a good nights sleep.
We decided we needed to get a new clock radio as our old one kept 'humming' to itself (very annoying when you're trying to doze off). We chose the Philips AJ3010 as it was a nice compact design and had the battery back-up we were looking for. It has a nice large display which makes it easy to read in the middle of the night which you can also dim so it doesn't disturb you. It has a buzzer as well as the radio if you prefer to be woken up that way. All in all, a very good little clock radio. The best album ever!!
Big Ones was the first Aerosmith album I bought and I haven't looked back since! I was first introduced to their music by hearing 'Dude (looks like a lady)' and bought this album on the strength of that one song, and I am very glad I did. I played this album non-stop for about a month when I first purchased it, and I have rarely lasted more than a couple of weeks since then without playing it, that's how much I love this CD. This is a compilation of many of their best songs including 'Cryin', 'Love In An Elevator', 'The Other Side', 'Walk On Water', 'What It Takes' and 'Livin On The Edge'. I have since become a bit of an Aerosmith anorak, and have more of their CDs than any other artist in my collection. However, this is the one CD that I could never part with and is my favourite of all time. If you want an introduction to Aerosmith, this is the perfect album to pick. If you already know their work and haven't bought this already; are you crazy?!! A truly outstanding album which I cannot imagine ever being surpassed.
