GREAT standard def camcorder with fun features :)
Oldy but Goody. Old school tape based standard def video camera, small but sharp and great features like the manual focus. It has a surprisingly good death of field for a small handycam wjich means you can get some great focus pulls. Good fun to play with. Great 0 Lux night shot which is why I bought this camera for film wildlife at night - great images can be achieved. DOWNSIDE- horrible bottom feeding tape desk which is a pain when on a tripod. Quality is great for what it is but it's not hi def but I knew that when I bough it. Firewire only available in the docking system which sucks a bit too.

Ge force value for money
Compared to todays standards this card will not be a super graphics renderer or used to enhance powerful games. It is good for what it is, a 128mb graphics card that is not going to break the bank. It is PCI express which means you can use it on the newer boards and it will handle Vista Operating systems and free up your RAM for other applications. Vista uses alot of RAM to operate (about 750 mb to be safe) but as soon as you add a graphics card, rather then using onboard graphics, it will free up much needed memory. This card does that for you and provides good rendering for the low spec games. Daemon vector plays fine on this card for instance and games like alien shooter are rendered perfectly. On XP this card seems to come to life a little more for some reason, maybe Vista needs some more tweaking to spread the load of it's bulky op system. In all a good card for low spec games and video applications including video editing(not high def maybe) which will not cost you a packet.

AmD 64 x 2 great CPUs at a loew price
The Athlon 64 x 2 CPU's for the AM2 socket seem to be a real winner when it comes to performance and reliability. I have used the new Am3 245's etc with similar specs but the old ones seem to be the best! Fast and efficient and at a price low enough for the poorest of us. Of course we would all like to have Pentium dual core CPUs or Quad cores, if we had money to throw at them, but for the rest of us who only need enough power and speed that video and audio demand (don't forget gaming) then they are just the job. This 2.2 Ghz cpu is editing video in premiere easily and until i need enough power to navigate a space shuttle, will do just fine!!!
