I started this journey by finding a Calvin and Hobbes Lithograph that I then sold for $1500.I realized people often throw things away that still have so much value. selling this allowed me to keep my daughter and I with a roof over our heads and prevented us from losing our home. It then became a treasure hunt, in which I learned that sometimes treasure is pulling something that would normally go to the landfill and finding another use for it. I have 10 years of professional sales experience, however there is nothing like selling something to someone that touches a piece of their heart. I often tell my customers that I don't sell Vintage Home goods, I sell nostalgia. it's not really sales at that point. It feels more like invoking pleasurable memories while keeping treasures out of the landfill. If I hadn't been through the rough spots that I have been through, I never would have believed in myself enough to start my own business.My hope is that you find your own Nostalgia here too.

Based on this purchase, I would not recommend buying anything from this shop. PRO: Light was safely packed, nothing arrived broken. CONS: 1. Several things were not disclosed by the seller in the listing (cracked/broken pieces, missing pieces, shoddy paint job). 2. Sellers response time was slow and incomplete. 3. Shipping label was created on date of purchase, but item wasn't shipped for 11 days. Photos are lamp disassembled (I plan to strip the spray-paint and restore to original condition)
