  The item was listed as new, but the tape sealing the box had been cut open, which reduces the value of the item. The listing did not state this fact. The seller was very prompt in responding to messages, but did not offer to remedy the situation, and in their final message, seemed to imply they would leave a negative review for me as a buyer because I was raising this issue.
