Best motherboard with WinXP drivers
This is the last proper high-end MB to support WinXP natively, so it is a great choice for power users with old high value apps which won't run in a XP VM. There is however a warning: probably all of the samples on sale have an old BIOS, which needs updating to run the later i7 CPUs like the i7-970 which I use in mine. But the i7-970 won't boot! So you need to buy a cheap old i7-920 and it possibly needs to be the old mask version. See a thread on Toms Hardware for the details, entitled "ex58-ud5-starting-build".

Works perfectly.
I am running over 30m of cheap 75 ohm video coax and getting 80-90 mbits/sec. That is application to application (file transfer) so this box is running close to the 100mbps maximum possible. Very good.
