Mirror arrived damaged. I asked for discount to help cover the cost of the repair since the outside box was not damaged and know FedEx won't usually cover them for packing failure, plus we've been looking for this size. She offered a return only for FedEx to pick up. Rather than send the mirror back in the thin packaging and risk damaging an antique mirror, I decided to keep it and have it repaired on our dollar. Not ideal but I would hate for this mirror to be damaged further in return transit

The listing cited chipping and touch ups along the inner edge, and buyer sent me photos showing a few very small flakes that came loose in the packaging. She had a framer come TO HER HOUSE and wanted me to pay for repairs. I gave her the option of returning it which she accepted, but when FedEx came to pick it up, she had changed her mind. The flimsy packaging she referred to included three layers of custom made box and many layers of padding.

Seller states framer came to my house. Not sure how she came up with that one but she is incorrect. No one does that. The small chips she's referring to was chunks of the frame. The box that it was shipped in was super thin for an antique mirror.
