Sonny Rollins - Global Warming (CD 1998)
This album is absolutely wonderful. Every track is perfect. Every musician plays superbly. I think it really is one of Sonny Rollins's very best albums. I've already got about 20 albums mostly from around 40 to 50 years ago but this one has whetted my appetite to buy more of his more recent albums. I love the design of the Digipak sleeve too. The art work compares favourably with some of the best Jazz LP sleeves from the 50s and 60s. However, there are no liner notes which is a feature I have always liked if they are well written.
