The NIV Thompson Chain Reference-This is by far the greatest most advanced translation the world has ever known. This translation was so great and so popular it forced the King James to come out with two new translations-1st the NKJV and if that wasn't enough the NKJV Thompson Chain Reference. When you decide on your next bible get the best, get the Thompson Chain reference NIV. This will be the best dollars you ever spend. They make great gifts also for family members! All bible navigation is easy and you can find what you need when you need it in your ministry to others. They are not cheap! But it will be money well spent every time you open your bible and can find exactly what God said where He said it through the Prophets. You know, many times we spend 75 cents on that can of pop or bag of chips once a week on something that is not good for you. This is something good for you! :-) Spend a little more and invest in your spiritual growth. This is God's love letter to mankind, don't you think you should get the best? I bought my first NIV Thompson Chain Reference in 1986 for $75 and they weren't cheap then. They are less expensive now, and am convinced this surpasses the other bibles.
