About

Since 2002, I buy and sell artist-signed rare and limited edition artworks, collectibles, fashion-wears, brand-named, one-of-a-kind choice items and electronics that are in great if not excellent conditions. My artworks sold are typically American post-war and contemporary creations, many from well-known artists. My asking price for each sale item is typically fixed at a fair value with option for best offer. I do not work full-time basis for eBay sales. So I may not ship on same day of customer purchase, but always within the allowed eBay shipping deadline after payment availability as confirmed by eBay.

Wireless WiFi Remote Video Camera Door Phone Doorbell Intercom Monitor Security
27 Jun, 2016
Has all the promises BUT epic fail
This security WiFi doorbell appeared to have most of the required features with a good price except that it failed to meet usability for a number of reasons which I will elaborate. But first the positives: a) Design: This WiFi door bell looks aesthetically pleasing and vivid. Nobody could have missed it. The larger push button area is so different from many other more expensive models, such as Skybell that visitors could have mistakenly pushed and damage the video lens. The larger button with a clear bell icon makes it a no brainer for any visitor exactly where to puch to activate the bell. b) Size: This WiFi door bell is of good unintrusive size and thickness to cover an existing standard push button outside the door of single family homes. For apartment dwellers, mounting this onto the front door involves a simple small through hole to run its wires, perhaps even through existing removed peep hole device. c) Specs: This doorbell is SUPPOSED to have adequate WiFi call, audio and video alert and communication features. Even-though it does not have infrared capability that would allow it to see in the dark, it did not stop me from considering this product as I have installed a motion sensor light outside my door. Given the above, the drastic drawbacks of this product will make anyone to reconsider this purchase: 1) There is no technical support from the manufacturer. The manufacturer website just list product info, app downloads, PDF docs and videos, but absolutely no contact information should you have any issue with installation or setup. 2) The updated app for your android phone or iPhone does not match with the printed installation/activation instructions included with the product or even online (which shows the exact printed document without any update when the app interface changes). This has caused tremendous confusion for the user when it comes to the process of pairing and activating the WiFi doorbell. 3) The software design and logical path to setup the WiFi doorbell with your phone and WiFi network at home is not intuitive. It requires you to first use your phone to connect with the WiFi doorbell, then from there open the app to change the WiFi network ID and password. The very poor explanation given and unclear instruction for this crucial initial phase of setup is hidden in very finely printed user manual that will need a magnifying glass to read. 4) For iPhone app, apparently it can only connect with 2.4GHz and not both 2.4 and 5 GHz broadband connection. 5) After valid connection of the WiFi doorbell, the motion detection works BUT there is a delay in delivering the alert to your phone - which defeats the whole purpose of such a WiFi doorbell when instant alert should be the primary concern. 6) Strangely, my unit did not give any alert when someone pressed the doorbell. I could hear the connected chime unit sound, BUT not WiFi alert! This is the deal breaker that prompt the epic fail of this product for its intended purpose. Imagine a doorbell that is only localized like a wired unit, but not a wireless one to alert you anywhere on planet Earth when you are on WiFi or data!! 7) The whole unit construction is plastic - including the mounting plate. This is so highly undesirable as anyone can simple knock off and crack the still expensive doorbell from the wall with a hard push. 8) Typical power unit from the push button is about 18-24VAC, the power required for this WiFi doorbell is 12VDC, rendering your existing transformer and bell useless. Moreover this unit cannot replace the existing push button of door bells installed in typical Single family homes in America for a simple reason - the existing push button in a typical SFH setup consist of just two wires. This unit has at least a 4 wire connection to run: a pair for power at 12V from the provided power adapter to operated the WiFi doorbell, and a pair of wires from doorbell to a provided electronic chime. There is simple no way to route another pair of wires together with the existing 2 wire installed at bell replacement unless you are willing to punch a new hole through your wall from outside into your house. Conclusion - This WiFi doorbell may appear promising, but its reliability and software design consideration is below par making it non-functional and not applicable in the American context. The gross lack of tech support from the manufacturer makes this unit hopeless if you are either not tech savvy enough or do not have the time to play around with it. From the manufacturer's web site, it appears that it is the same manufacturer of Skybell's first gen products. It is apparent that this manufacturer stole the same idea from Skybell but fell short in its own delivery of a credible and cheaper option. In short it sucks!

47"x78" Rear Projection Projector Screen Banner Stand Roll Up Trade Show Display
01 Jun, 2018
Ok product but...
This is probably the only product in the market place that is meant for rear projection for my simple booth display on the show floor. The roll up screen is made of a gray almost translucent opaque rubbery sheet that collaspe n roll into the bottom base compartment. Don't expect an ingenious design about an easy removal n screen replacement. It is rather cheaply made with two shaped aluminum tubes joined slotted together. The width of 47 inches is just too big occupying almost have the prime real estate of my booth. Trimming this down to the standard 33 inches takes a lot of work if u don't have the right tools. The magnetic base end caps is a nice touch, but they do not solve the necessity of a good design. Dismantling the screen core roller requires the removal of the whole aluminum screwed-on end plate on one side while trying not to b cut by it. The projection screen is being held to the spring loaded core by a strip of packing tape, n this is indeed not suggested as this cheap fastener can deteriorate over time. This is so unlike the American desgned roll up dilay stands that makes screen display a breeze...
