Great for referees!
I purchased this for myself and my 12-year old to referee. I've bought a few other timers, but they were difficult to set and not intuitive. This one is easy to set and easy to read. It beeps with a few seconds to go, then when the time is up, it beeps and starts counting up. I find this to be an ideal timer when I referee. I have not had any issues with bumping the buttons - I keep it in my shirt pocket. If I need to change the time (for instance, one team requested quarters instead of halves, so I needed to adjust accordingly), it only takes a few seconds to make the adjustment. The fact that it starts counting up after the timer completes is also helpful, as then I know how long the break has been. Overall, I find this to be very easy to use, and would definitely recommend. I've only been using it a few weeks, so can't speak to the long-term durability.
