  The item was in good shape, largely as described. However, the seller had made it impossible to mount the lens as they had offset the mounting mechanism. Luckily, I knew how to fix it. My guess is that most buyers would have returned it as broken. I believe the misalignment was due to the seller trying to test the aperture.
