THe clippers work well cutting very thick nails in my case. My nails are now better cut than they have been for a great number of years.

Anti Rain Jacket for Cycling
This is a brilliant waterproof jacket for cycling in the rain. It is made of slightly heavier gauge plastic than most cycling jackets, and I am sure that it is really waterproof. I have not owned it for long so do not know how long it would last, which is usually the problem with budget cycling jackets. This cycling jacket is, however, no use as a hi vis jacket for ordinary cycling other than in the rain, as the waterproof nature makes it fill up with condensation. I always use a hi vis jacket for cycling, and have to have a second one which is more breathable for cycling in the dry. These can be had very cheaply, so 2 jackets can be had for less than half the price of a sophisticated state of the art cycling jacket, so I still think that I made a good purchase.
