Precision Mini Steel Vice Vise 2"/ 50 mm For Grinding, Engineering Tool

Looks well made, failed on the first time use
When purchasing this vise I was hoping for a pretty well made and precise instrument. Price was still attractive if the produce was to be as expected. Well it was not. First af all it doesn't exactly look like on the listing photo because the handle is in fact a clamping rod that you insert in holes made for it. That's no big deal. The main issue was the clamping screw that go loose right on the first use and I wasn't able to put it back. Something what was holding it apparently broke or else so I had to move that sliding jaw by hand, each time trying to get the clamping screw back where it was suppose to be. The clamping screw itself is crooked. The movable jaw goes back to a certain point and stops. From there it needs to be pushed by hand in order to pass this stage. Finally, it came sealed in plastic bag full of grease, virtually sank in it. it took me a great deal of time to get rid of it.

Satisfactory for wood, plastic and perhaps softer metals. Forget about using these on steel

Don't buy it if you need a pump!
Product is probably good but you would be very lucky if you can have it come through the pump. I bought two identical units from different sources. Neither one works with pump. The pump is totally useless.
