    The item was described as new. However, the flaps of the box were worn, inmcidating that it had been taken out of the box. The wheel trucks look slightly worn, not shiny like other Lionel older stock that are sold as "new." In addition, the yellow roof cover is full of brown blotchy stains. I will see if I can remove them. It would have been fairer to describe this item as "slighly worn."
