    My primary issue is that, while the seller stated the item was a little dusty, that was not the problem. My issue was the most disagreeable smell of, I'm guessing, cigarette smoke. It simply reeked. I put the item outside on two separate days and could still smell it. I sprayed it lightly with an expensive lavender room spray; the smell remains, though lighter. It is a cloth Christmas decoration, so I am leaving it out in an open indoor storage room until then and hope the smell dissipates.

    I am sorry for your experience, I did not detect any smell on this item. As stated in my description, I purchase items to resell. I do my absolute best to describe all items accurately. I store my items and work in a smoke free environment and use an air purifier. if I discover any smells, I will not list an item unless the item can be rendered smoke free or, I would disclose the defect.
