Great little radios
1 of 1 found this helpful I do a lot of backcountry camping and hiking with a small group of friends. We've always wanted a set of radios that could perform well in dense forest and varied terrain without breaking us. These guys have fit the bill nicely. In the city, we managed almost a mile with the 15" antenna. Once we got out in the woods, the range increased to about two miles...we stopped the testing after that. These radios are great right out of the box, are affordable and seem like they're pretty well made. All in all...we give them 5 stars.
