Casio Graphic Calculator CFX-9850G plus
This calculator is excellent. I was given one on loan from school when i took my a level maths and have now brought one for myself since it was so invaluable. i think the best feature of this product is the easy to use graph funtions and polynomials (if you are doing your further maths, you'll understand this) the calculator is easy to use and user friendly with a clear format and quick functions. in a test, it makes graph drawing tasks 10x quicker and easier because, providing you know the equation, it can draw your graph in around 4 seconds. the large display screen is great because you can do long rambling equations and sequences without worrying about remembering what you have already done and the ability to go back mid-calculation and change something means that there is no more hurried retyping of equations when you press the wrong button or suddenly realise that there is a number missing four lines back! i decided to buy my own casio graphic so that i wouldn't have to return it to the school/college at the end of the year. buying the calculator on ebay makes so much more sense than buying it new; i picked mine up for £18.96 whereas in the shops they can cost as much as £80, and since it doesn't really make a difference whether it is used or not, it doesn't effect the product itself. i would certainly recommend buying one of these calculators if you are taking GCSE, A Level, Further or Advanced Mathematics, or even if you are taking Science as this calculator makes life so much easier.
