My hubby and I are both newly retired. I was a Hospice social worker for 21 years and a homeschool mom of one special needs child. My hubby was a county worker for 32 years. Our only child recently graduated from college and moved to his own place. He didn't want any of his toys or games. We are finding our new normal. Our home is oddly quiet and filled with children's books, toys, games and everything else. We are downsizing and eBay seemed to be the answer. We have a huge garden that we grow our own food and we own 47 chickens. I make my own soap and quilts and home cook every meal. I make sourdough bread every Sunday. My husband of over 37 years plays guitar and fixes up his car. He has an old 1965 mustang that is his baby. Now that he is retired he hopes to get it running soon. It has been a paper weight in our garage for about 10 years.:) We recently purchased a small camper and have been going to state parks and national parks. We love to hike and see the USA.

    This buyer complained that books were over priced and gave poor feedback, however, she made a Loeb offer nearly half the price we were asking and we accepted her offer. If she thought the books were too high she should not have made the offer. Very difficult to please a person who got exactly the amount they offered and still gave poor feedback. We actually lost money on shipping as well, as we charged less than the shipping actually cost.
