Nikon LS2000 slide scanner
A high quality machine that produces high resolution digitized images from transparencies. The downside is you need to pair it with an ADAPTEC 1460D Slim SCSI if you can find one, and download the drivers from the Adaptec site if you plan to use it with a modern laptop. Mine finally worked after much effort using Windows XP. The copy process takes alomost 1 1/2 minutes per slide. That's a lot of time if you have 86 slide trays. I'll be 86 when I'm finished. Tom
