Absolutely gorgeous outfit. Exactly as described. The packing was secure, so nothing could be damaged. It looks wonderful on my 1970 Living Barbie. I would definitely buy from the seller again.

Deluxe Quick Curl Barbie is a charming, old-fashioned doll-- end of an era
Deluxe Quick Curl Barbie was a makeover of the earlier 1973 Quick Curl Barbie. She has a surprisingly old-fashioned look, wearing shawl & granny gown. All of the same accessories are included from the earlier doll, with the addition of a long hair piece that Mattel calls a "fall". The earliest dolls on the market had a larger box and a VERY high hairline, giving the doll an even older look-- She could pass for a woman in her late 40s! The later issue had a much smaller box, lower hairline, and more vibrant makeup (like the one I purchased). She was one of the last dolls to use the Twist n Turn head mold. Deluxe Quick Curl Barbie was a stark contrast to the youthful, exciting SUPERSTAR Barbie that Mattel would introduce the following year. It is hard to believe that the two dolls were sold on the same shelf together!
